I just finished my required homework for tomorrow thank the lord, amen! Seriously! That was quite the ordeal but it's finished now so I get to relax at my new desk, in my new chair drinking a cup of peppermint tea with a squeeze of lemon. I thought I'd paint a visual for anyone who is reading this. I am debating whether I finish up reading the last 25 marketing pages I have to read for Wednesday, or pop Titanic into my portable dvd player and cozy up on my bed with my new blanket and read them later on when I get to my aunt's house... Or maybe I'll compromise and read ten pages now and then watch Titanic, and then read 15 pages later tonight. Anyways..
I'd like to say that I am already adjusted to this whole university thing but that wouldn't be the truth. It still feels like a short term kind of thing. I feel like last week was orientation and that university starts next September. It's also probably because I am not staying at home for my two days I am at school. I have always gone to schools that are at max a ten minute drive away from my house so it is a bit surreal to be learning the bus schedule for a different city. But I am staying with my godmother who is like a second mother to me so I'm sure I will adjust pretty quickly. It's nice staying with them, they are really the best! My little cousin Julia who is seven, made me a wood box and the drew on the front " Alicia's Stuff". Is that not the cutest thing ever? On my first day she cut out a little pink paper heart and wrote "Luck" on it and put it in my bag. I showed a couple of people that I met and they all thought it was adorable too...
I met a couple of really cool people too! They are all really interesting and some of them are pretty experienced with the fashion industry. One of the girls I met had been modeling for a few years and had met Coca Rocha. She and I are doing an Ab and Core workout class together at the school studio. :) It's great because I can't do yoga quite as much as I'd like because of school. I still go at least twice a week but I used to go three or four times a week so it's good to get a different kind of workout and at school. So far I like my classes and my instructors. It's all pretty good so far! I'm still nervous though so knock on wood for me, I don't want to jinx it! Oh, except I had a small fiasco getting to school one day. It was my first time taking the bus to school so I went to the wrong bus stop. I waited and waited and my bus was not showing up. I asked a man next to me if my bus came to the stop and he laughed and said I was at the wrong bus stop. My bus had left the bus stop I should have been at and wasn't coming back for another half an hour ( I would have been late) so I panicked and called my dad and he called a taxi. Luckily I had some money in my bag, and the taxi drive was sweet and told me he would let me go for less because he wanted to cut me a break. I took the bus home though and I didn't screw up. I love when people are nice :).
By the way... I MISS MY BEST FRIENDS!!!! I hope you had fun at the Taylor Swift concert!! I hope you sang your hearts out to the songs like you do when we are together! I love you gals!! I want to see you all soon!
